Also, I have just finished this project, for the The Cheltenham Illustration Awards. It was based on Amulets, taken from a museum in Oxford. I chose to pick a fish shaped amulet also known as 'Nekhau', which in Egypt was used to protect the wearer from drowning. It was worn by mainly children and women, strung on a lock of hair.

As part of a one day brief I have produced this poster, identifying me as an Illustrator. Got quite carried away putting some of my stuff together! Have got to get this printed up to A1 size, not sure how it will translate to that though?!

The circus flyer set is complete, you will find all six on here now, I'm going to be printing on the text using hand printing with some lovely stamps I found in Paper chase, and the  finished products will be scanned in and uploaded here soon.

An Introduction to Geri...

This is Geri, my house rabbit. She is a Black Otter Netherland Dwarf. I have had her since August and over the time she has become unimaginably tame! She arrived in a cardboard box as timid as anything but now, eight months on, she lays on the sofa, sits under a blanket and grooms my clothes. She often circles my feet, tripping me up and attempts to burrow through my bedroom door.
She has become my live in inspiration  giving me plenty of opportunities to draw an animal from life.
This is the first drawing I have done of her, but I'm sure there will be plenty more to come. I might even start a drawing diary dedicated just to her and what she get's up to!
